Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join a dynamic recycling company. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing extrusion equipment, dryers, and decontamination units, ensuring the optimal functioning of these critical systems. Responsibilities Maintain and repair extrusion equipment, dryers, and decontamination units. Install, clean, and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys, and other hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical parts of machines. Repair or replace gauges, valves, regulators, and other components of hydraulic, pneumatic, and other fluid-powered equipment or mechanical systems. Essential Skills Possession of an Electrical Trainee card or schooling equivalent Basic knowledge of PLCs and the ability to interpret indicator lights on a PLC car. Strong electrical skills, including motor controls, relays, and control circuits. Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventative/corrective maintenance. Familiarity with lock out/tag out procedures and electrical safety. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in extrusion is a plus. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of South Gate, California for 2nd and 3rd shift. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k. A place to learn a new skills - extrusion. Bonus at the end of the quarter. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in South Gate,CA.
