Our Savannah, GA facility is expanding, and we are seeking an energetic, motivated Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our Maintenance team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

 As an E&I Technician, you will: 

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Install, test, and calibrate PLCs, DCS equipment, VFDs, and motor control systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and root cause failure analysis
  • Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E regulations
  • Provide technical expertise and collaborate with operations to maximize production uptime and reliability

 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

 Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree, technical diploma, or completion of accredited apprenticeship program in an industrial field
  • 5–7 years of experience in industrial maintenance with emphasis on PLC/instrumentation troubleshooting
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, process control, instrumentation, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repairs
  • Experience reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • On-call rotation availability

 

Bonus Skills: 

  • SAP experience (work orders, BOMs, part location)
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools: HART communicator, multimeter, RTD calibrators, etc.
  • Knowledge of control loop tuning, process instrumentation, and SCADA/DCS systems

    

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Regular exposure to industrial environments including noise, mechanical parts, temperature variation, and heights
  • Must be able to lift up to 50–60 lbs and work in various physical positions (standing, kneeling, climbing)
  • Position is day shift, but future shift work may be required
