Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
This position requires expertise in welding, specifically MIG and Stick welding on stainless steel. The role involves mechanical troubleshooting on gear boxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyor systems, as well as performing maintenance on large industrial furnaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing preventative maintenance tasks and working proficiently with hand and power tools.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct welding tasks primarily using MIG and Stick methods on stainless steel.
+ Perform mechanical troubleshooting on gear boxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyor systems.
+ Maintain and repair large industrial furnaces.
+ Execute preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proven experience in industrial maintenance.
+ Proficiency in welding, including MIG and ARC techniques.
+ Ability to fabricate using hand tools.
+ Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in fabrication and reading blueprints.
+ Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.

**Work Environment**
The role operates on the 1st shift, Monday - Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM during training, transitioning to normal hours of 5 AM to 3:30 PM. Uniforms will be provided to ensure safety and compliance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HOPKINSVILLE, Kentucky.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.22 - $25.22/hr.
