Maintenance Mechanic**

**Job Description**

This role involves performing mechanical services on equipment with a robust understanding of precision alignment, welding, blueprint reading, mathematics, and preventive and predictive maintenance. You will use hand tools daily, such as power tools, hand grinders, saws, drill press, hydraulic pullers, and perform welding tasks.

**Responsibilities**

+ Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility.

+ Operate standard maintenance tools, including power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, and preventative maintenance technology tools.

+ Utilize and work with maintenance trades and components such as electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

+ Modify or build equipment by reading and comprehending electrical/mechanical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals.

+ Document completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary.

+ Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork-focused environment.

+ Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts.

+ High school degree or GED

+ 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance

+ AA degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred but not required

**Work Environment**

This position is onsite, offering a choice between Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, from 7 am to 5:30 pm, with no weekend work required. You will be working in a facility equipped with the latest maintenance technology tools.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
