Maintenance Supervisor

Sunday - Thursday, 10pm to 7am

Are you a skilled Maintenance Supervisor ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? Aventure Staffing is working with a Sioux City company to hire a hands-on, proactive leader to optimize our equipment performance, implement preventative maintenance programs, and mentor a dedicated team, all while contributing to the continuous production of high-quality food products.

Responsibilities:

• Safety First: Prioritize safety above all else. This means ensuring lock-out/tag-out procedures are readily available and understood by your team, and identifying any specific safety hazards before work begins.
• Work Order Management: Review work orders, determining the necessary level of planning. This involves conducting field work to understand and document the job requirements thoroughly.

• Job Planning & Execution: Plan jobs with appropriate detail, considering the skills of your technicians. Prepare clear and concise work procedures and ensure all necessary parts are available. The supervisor will also be responsible for printing and distributing work orders according to the weekly schedule.
• Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback on current workflows and suggestions for boosting future efficiency.
• Documentation & Closure: Maintain accurate records for all equipment and parts. Close out work orders and logs upon completion.
• Outage Planning: Actively engage in outage planning, focusing on comprehensive scope control, efficient scheduling and coordination, thorough risk assessment, effective execution, and fostering ongoing enhancements.
• Team Communication & Motivation: Clearly communicate to the team, ensuring they fully understand the tasks and cultivate a high-performance work environment.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree from a trade/technical school, or a Bachelors in business administration or facility management preferred.

Experience:

• Must have previous experience as maintenance leader or similar managerial role in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of facilities maintenance and equipment.
• Skilled in plumbing, electrical and carpentry work.
• Food Manufacturing experience
• Proven experience with CMMS platforms, preferably MVP ONE
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and deliver timely results.
• Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
