Longview Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.
Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

We are CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Program.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Worker performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems, and structures throughout the facility to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.
- Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.
- Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.
- Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Completes all assigned education in a timely manner.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings, in-service, projects, and committees as assigned.
- Works scheduled shifts including overtime when necessary.
- Accepts all call schedule as directed.
- Maintains a neat and professional appearance in compliance with the existing dress code.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
