MAU is hiring a Maintenance Engineer for our client in Augusta, GA. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will manage maintenance operations across a portfolio of high-end residential homes, vacation properties, and business buildings. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information

  • Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Required Education and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Relevant certifications or licenses in building maintenance or a related trade
  • Experience in high-end residential or estate maintenance

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems
  • Valid driver's license
  • Flexibility to travel to different properties as needed
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Essential Functions

  • Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems
  • Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues and breakdowns promptly
  • Coordinate and oversee specialized repairs with external contractors, ensuring quality and timeliness
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
  • Ensure properties meet safety regulations and building codes
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs for the family's vehicle fleet
  • Ensure vehicles are kept in optimal working condition
  • Collaborate with household staff to ensure seamless property upkeep
  • Assist with inventory and supply management for maintenance needs
  • Manage maintenance projects, including renovations or upgrades
  • Obtain quotes, manage vendors, and ensure high-standard project completion
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding the family's properties and affairs
  • Adhere to all security protocols and procedures

Working Conditions

  • Work performed across multiple properties including luxury residences, vacation homes, and business buildings
