Maintenance Mechanic Heavy Industrial Facility**
**Location:** Moncks Corner, SC
**Pay:** $33$39/hr (Based on Experience)

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support operations at a large-scale industrial manufacturing facility in Moncks Corner. **Shift Details DuPont Schedule**
This position follows a **DuPont rotating shift** , which provides a mix of day and night shifts with built-in time off. A typical cycle includes:
+ **Week 1:** 4 days on, 3 days off
+ **Week 2:** 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 nights on
+ **Week 3:** 3 days off, 4 nights on
+ **Week 4:** 7 days off
This schedule offers **every other weekend off** and a full **7-day break every 4 weeks** , making it ideal for work-life balance.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy industrial equipment such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and hydraulic systems.
+ Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
+ Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
+ Collaborate with electricians, engineers, and production teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
+ Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all safety and environmental protocols.
+ Participate in equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in industrial maintenance preferred.
+ 3+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or heavy industrial setting.
+ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding/fabrication.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings.
+ Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
+ Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and in hot or confined environments.
+ Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
