Amavida is recruiting for a hospitality focused Maintenance Supervisor to join our team!
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Maintenance Supervisor:
- Responsible for performing and supervising general maintenance duties in the community including but not limited to carpentry, electrical work, HVAC work, painting, plumbing, pool repairs and appliance repairs.
- Assists with assignment of daily work orders and preventive maintenance assignments, checks to ensure timely completion and standards of performance established by Amavida.
- Assists with maintenance reports including but not limited to monthly and quarterly reports.
- Assists with employee related personnel issues, including, but not limited to performance reviews and discipline.
- Performs periodic inspection of the community including, but not limited to, roofs, air condition system, lighting, parking areas and all mechanical equipment, and reports all findings to Plant Operations Director.
- During emergencies or natural disasters, employee may be required to report for duty as assigned by the Plant Operations Director, for the duration of the disaster.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High School diploma or an acceptable equivalency GED
- Previous experience in senior living or healthcare setting is highly desired
- Minimum of 5 years in supervisory position preferred, computer knowledge and background in building and equipment maintenance.
- The Equipment Lifecycle System (TELS) experience preferred.
Rate of Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
