Facilities Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leader in facility management, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the operations team supporting the maintenance and repair of various facility systems. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Waltham, MA

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility systems and equipment.
• Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
• Carry out general interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures and repairing office furniture.
• Move office furniture, machinery, and equipment as requested.
• Replace lighting and ballasts, and clean HVAC coils while changing filters and belts.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb up to 30 ft ladders.
• Comfortable with frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving.
