Summary
Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding, as required, Medical Center equipment and distribution systems to ensure a continuous flow of building utilities.
- Install, maintain, and repair compressors, vacuum pumps, fluid pumps, compressed air filtration equipment, fan assemblies, and small engines.
- Able to maintain utility distribution systems including piping, wiring, etc.
- Act as a resource person for the Medical Center. Ensures that mechanical and/or electrical equipment is adequate for stated needs and all requirements, codes, and regulations are according to procedure.
- Maintain a clean and hazard free work area. Adhere to safety regulations for all tools and equipment.
- Responsible for the installation and general repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment not requiring a Licensed Electrician.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Certified Senior Maintenance Professional specializing in Mechanics preferred.
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
- Knowledge of plumbing, basic electricity, basic electronics, machine repair, and welding which can be obtained in three (3) to five (5) years of work experience is required. Must demonstrate proficiency in pneumatics: pump operation, construction material assembly and laundry equipment maintenance is required.
