The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment in accordance with the overall scope of the Greenacres Mission.

Responsibilities:

The Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Technician position works as a unified member of the Building Management Department under the supervision of the Shop Supervisor. The Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and established maintenance schedules

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems

Ensure equipment is cleaned and greased on a regular basis.

Perform welding and fabrication work as needed

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on vehicles and equipment

Operate various tools and equipment used with maintenance, such as lift, air tools, etc.

Follow all safety procedures and protocols

Communicate with supervisors and coworkers regarding maintenance and repair issues

Perform equipment and parts inventory

Order and track the progress of repair parts.

Return equipment to end users

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Candidates needs at least 3 years of experience in the above-stated areas
  • Experienced troubleshooting and maintenance of various equipment and vehicles. This includes but is not limited to chainsaws, leaf blowers, trucks, tractors etc.
  • PC competency, Word & Excel and Windows OS
  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills
  • Ability to work holidays, evenings or weekends if needed
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to travel to all Greenacres locations regularly. Currently this includes Indian Hill, OH, Miami Township Clermont County, OH, Lewis Township, OH and Oldenburg, IN.
  • Ability to work well with people including employees and the public
  • Ability to successfully pass a post-offer pre-employment drug test and fingerprint FBI background screen
  • Ability to work with both internal and external partners with the same or very different backgrounds to ensure all who visit Greenacres get the highest quality experience that addresses their needs

Physical Demands:

  • Able to move equipment and materials up to 100 lbs.
  • Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Work in high noise levels requiring hearing protection
  • Workaround lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints
