We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a fast paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of machinery and facility systems to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machines including lubrication, coolant changes, machine alignment, and operational testing
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and perform necessary mechanical repairs
  • Conduct routine building and grounds maintenance, including but not limited to snow removal, trash disposal, and emergency lighting tests
  • Carry out minor carpentry tasks, as needed
  • Execute basic electrical repairs and adjustments such as wiring and maintaining equipment controls
  • Dismantle machine tools and equipment to inspect, repair, or replace defective parts
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and follow established safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with production staff and management to minimize equipment downtime
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial machinery and equipment, specifically CNC machines
  • Mazak or Mazatrol experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems and safe repair practices
  • Basic carpentry and plumbing skills a plus
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Customer service oriented mindset with effective communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school preferred
