Facility Maintenance Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Facility Mainteancne Technicians for projects located in and around Schnecksville, PA . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Inspect and maintain machinery, equipment, buildings, and HVAC systems

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing

• Make minor repairs to locks, faucets, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures

• Conduct basic carpentry (e.g., repair bulletin boards, paint, install shelves)

• Assist electricians and carpenters with maintenance tasks

• Maintain campus grounds: mow lawns, trim bushes, replace exterior light bulbs

• Troubleshoot issues reported by faculty and staff

• Conduct basic plumbing: repair/install faucets, drinking fountains, and fixtures

• Perform routine maintenance like filter changes and minor troubleshooting

• Help maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment used in daily operations

• Support seasonal landscaping and general upkeep efforts

Requirements:

• • Prior maintenance experience in a commercial, institutional, or educational setting

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems

  • Ability to safely operate power tools and maintenance equipment

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication and organizational abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Valid drivers license preferred
