Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to coordinate and repair equipment, including electrical, hydraulics, welding and burning equipment, plumbing, compressors, overhead cranes, mobile cranes, diesel repair, forklifts, trucks, and trailers. Your role is crucial in ensuring all equipment is repaired to safe and working conditions through preventative and corrective maintenance on shop and yard equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and repair 3 phase motors.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and trucks.
+ Perform electrical installations with various volts up to 480v.
+ Diagnose electrical and wiring faults.
+ Familiarize and adhere to lock out/tag out procedures.
+ Follow all OSHA safety procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, maintenance technician, or millwright.
+ Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, heavy equipment, and machine maintenance.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in electrical systems.
+ Experience with electrical installations, including working with 3 phase motors, breakers, and breaker boxes.
+ Familiarity with lock out/tag out procedures.
+ Knowledge of PLCs and VFDs, diesel maintenance, sprockets, motors, DC motors, and electrical valves.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 3 years of electrical maintenance experience.
+ Experience in an outdoor industrial environment.
+ Experience with heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, welding machinery.
+ Welding experience is a plus.
+ Diesel experience is a plus.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
