ortunity Looking for a direct hire oppWe’re hiring a 2nd Shift Mechanic to maintain and troubleshoot industrial packaging equipment in a dynamic nightshift environment. This role runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 PM–4:30 AM, with occasional flexibility for training or shift handovers. Pay ranges from $28–$30/hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM (10hour shifts)
Pay: $28–29/hr (DOE)
Shift Flexibility: Willingness to adjust schedule for occasional training or shift handovers

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and repair production equipment: Form-Fill-Seal machines, metal detectors, box coders, industrial scales, and sealers
  
  
• Perform regular preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
  
  
• Read schematics and equipment manuals to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
  
  
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams during shift changes
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with FFS equipment, packaging machinery, or similar industrial systems
  
  
• strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable using tools, diagnostics, and basic electrical equipment
  
  
• Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule and adapt for occasional early starts
