Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain machines proactively to support plant/department goals for productivity, waste, quality, and safety.
• Assure guarding, facilities and equipment are in good working order.
• Set up and operate machine and perform necessary duties to meet manufacturing and quality targets at a minimum after repairs are completed.
• Detect, record, and report defective equipment to the Shift Manager and the Maintenance planner.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per instruction.
• Fills in running machines when necessary.
