Requirements

Job Title: Building Maintenance Supervisor
Department: Building Maintenance

Status: FT Year Round Hourly

Reporting To: Facilities Manager

Position Overview:

Powder Mountain is seeking a Building Maintenance Supervisor to support operations across our multiple resort zones. This role works closely with the Facilities Manager and Project Manager to coordinate day-to-day activities, optimize Limble workflows, and ensure field teams are equipped, scheduled, and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily facility operations and scheduling across field staff and coordinators
  • Manage and maintain work orders, preventive maintenance, and asset tracking through Limble CMMS
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training for maintenance techs
  • Lead weekly team meetings and contribute to long-term planning
  • Serve as liaison between coordinators, field teams, and leadership
  • Monitor team capacity and support seasonal shift planning
  • Track progress on tickets, projects, and recurring maintenance tasks
  • Ensure safety policies and documentation (OSHA, PPE, etc.) are followed
  • Fill in for Facilities Manager when necessary

Requirements and/or Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in a facilities, lead, coordinator or supervisory role
  • Proficiency with Limble or similar CMMS platform
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • Excellent communication and accountability instincts
  • Team-first mentality and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Background in ski resort, campus, or multi-property environments (preferred)
  • Familiarity with basic maintenance trades or work order systems (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

  • Full range of body movements
  • Reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (50lbs)
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting
  • Must have command of senses sight, hearing, touch, and smell
  • Vision requirements close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception
  • Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain
  • Climb/descend stairs/ladders
  • Manual dexterity to operate manual tools and power equipment on a constant basis
  • Safely handle hazardous materials

Working Environment:

Work is performed inside and outside. Candidate will be exposed to extreme temperatures (hot &cold), sun and wind exposure, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice), high altitudes (9,000ft+), moving machines/equipment, dust, wet, humid, dry, loud noises, and fumes from chemical conditions and frequent altitude changes.
