Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will provide emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment during machine service. Your role will involve diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, and testing and adjusting equipment. You will utilize various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform your duties, and you will read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to ensure proper maintenance and service.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
+ Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems of packaging and production machines.
+ Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
+ Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders.
+ Conduct general building maintenance duties including light repair, trash management, recycling, and plumbing.
+ Order parts and tooling as needed and approved by management.
+ Comply with OSHA Safety Guidelines and the company's Safety program.
+ Address quality issues promptly to uphold continuous improvement standards.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work station.
+ Embrace a team attitude in alignment with company Core Values.
+ Follow all company policies and procedures.
+ Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in maintenance technician roles.
+ Mechanical repair and preventive maintenance skills.
+ Welding and blueprint reading.
+ Troubleshooting and fabrication.
+ Mechanical aptitude with understanding of mechanical maintenance.
+ Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Roters, Splitters, Deltas, Lamination Machines, Presses, or Spools is a plus.
+ Welding and light fabrication skills preferred.
+ Ability to assist in improvements and a thorough understanding of mechanical devices is advantageous.
+ High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
+ Formal and extensive training in mechanical environment.
+ 1 to 3 years experience in a manufacturing/shipping environment.
+ Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, expectations, and procedures in manufacturing.

The pay range for this position is $43000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
