Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our company at our Tipton IN production facility.

This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.

What You'll Do:

• Work closely with Maintenance Supervisor and Coordinator daily.
• Oversee preventative maintenance program and maintain parts/supplies inventory, including sourcing appropriate vendors as needed.
• Establish positive working relationships with internal and external partners.
• Assist in evaluating if equipment repairs should be handled internally or outsourced.
• Supervise and schedule maintenance work with Production Supervisors & Team Leads.
• Ensure appropriate recordkeeping is completed.
• Coordinate, troubleshoot and assist with equipment and facility repairs.
• Facilitate clear communication and collaboration across shifts and departments.
• Promote and implement continuous improvement.
• Adhere to all safety quality and productivity standards and requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• You have a High School diploma/GED equivalent.

What Skills You Need:

• You have a valid US driver's license.
• You know how to schedule work/jobs, and you do a great job of following up on completion status.
• You have a good understanding of maintaining/repairing, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mechanical power transmission systems, electrical systems, welding, and fabrication work.
• You are willing and able to work in environments that include: tight or closed-in spaces, climb stairs/ladders and work at heights, stand or walk for extended periods of time, frequent bending and reaching, working outdoors and in inclement weather.
• You are experienced in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel.
• You can work both independently and in a team environment with limited supervision.
• You have good organization, prioritization and time-management skills in order to multi-task.
• You have good verbal and written communication skills.
• You execute transactional tasks with a high degree of precision and efficiency.
• You are willing and able to work a day schedule as well as overtime hours including weekend work as needed during seasonal peaks.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Experience with a CMMS (SAP) for work orders and parts inventory.
• Previous experience working with Industrial Technology/PLC automation.
• Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement and Standardized Work.
• Advanced computer skills.
