Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading provider in facility maintenance, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the operations department supporting the maintenance and repair of essential facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Seattle, WA

Shift: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Pay Range: $25

What's the Job?

  • Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts, rekey doors, and cut keys while maintaining key logs.
  • Assist the operations team in building and equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Perform general interior maintenance tasks, including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture systems.
  • Handle minor plumbing repairs and conduct facility inspections.

What's Needed?

  • Completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable, with a minimum of three years of working experience in general building repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to rekey doors and cut new keys for the buildings in the area.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and use ladders up to 30 ft.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
