Responsibilities

  • Incumbent will perform general maintenance and repair of structures or equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
  • Keeps supervisor apprised of unique situations and problems encountered and identify and reports safety, environmental and other work requirements for Plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings; repairing sinks, painting structures and equipment; replacing damaged sheet rock, floor tiles, and ceiling tiles; hanging doors and installing door Utilizes and interprets technical manuals, shop directives, blueprints, sketches, diagrams, and specifications, verbal and written.
  • Responsible for completing daily work order log documenting inspections, maintenance and repair information, to include work performed, materials used, and hours worked on each assigned work.
  • Interfaces with customers and responsible for customer feedback, as Operates motor vehicles in accordance with company vehicle Complies with applicable federal, state, United States Air Force (USAF) and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) environmental laws and regulations.
  • Complies with health and safety rules and procedures; performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work.
  • Incumbent will at all times wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined by position and performs other related duties as Accurate, timely, and cost-effective performance of Working harmoniously with customers and fellow co-workers.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of all Alutiiq LLC related Accountable for assigned tools, materials and Cleanliness and safety of shop and work Maintain a safe and healthy work environment within the shops and company vehicles.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
  • Must have a current state driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of valid.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in general maintenance.
  • Must be available to work other shifts as directed, to include weekends.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications.
  • Must have the ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to changes in technology and applicable. facility/infrastructure codes.
  • Must be familiar with facility/infrastructure codes and standards, as Must be able to deal with a variety of people in a professional & courteous manner in diverse.
  • Must be proficient and knowledge of a variety of hand and power.
  • Must demonstrate a working ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Desired Qualification:

  • Three (3) years’ experience in general maintenance and General understanding of carpentry, mason, electrical, plumbing, locks, fence repairs and sheet metal work; interior electric, HVAC, maintenance and repair of commercial equipment.
  • Be familiar with identifying asbestos and lead on job sites and know the procedures for notification and abatement.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience working on a military.
  • Experience working on Tinker.
  • Familiarity with military-specific facility/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable.

This position may currently and/or in the future be required to obtain and retain a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) and/or Personal Clearance (PCL) as required by law or contract.
