Job Overview:

The Facility Maintenance Technician will perform cleaning tasks in both unconditioned production areas and standard office spaces, including glassware cleaning, floor mopping, and bathroom sanitation. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to perform minor repairs (preferred but not required). This role requires someone who is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to follow clear instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize production floors, glassware, and work surfaces
Maintain cleanliness in office areas, break room, and restrooms
Break down cardboard boxes and remove trash from designated areas
Use cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with established protocols
Follow written and verbal instructions in English
Work independently and keep cleaning areas neat and organized
Maintain regular, reliable attendance and adhere to work schedules
Perform minor repairs such as fixing leaky faucets, changing light bulbs, or patching small holes in walls

Requirements:

Previous janitorial, custodial, or general maintenance experience
Due to access to technical data and facilities controlled under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and U.S. Government export control laws, only U.S. citizens may be considered for this position.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Comfortable working in an unconditioned environment (no AC)
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to perform minor facility repairs
Experience working in a cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) facility or other regulated environments

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
