Maintenance Worker (Streets & Stormwater)

Starting Salary: $16.07 - $20.49

Performs unskilled and semiskilled work repairing streets. Assists in building forms for curbs and sidewalks. Assists in the excavation of sidewalks, driveways, and paving and repairing streets with asphalt or bricks, and repairing or replacing guardrails.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Some laborer experience in area assigned desired. Some positions may require a valid Florida Driver's License and home telephone. Some positions may be required to pass an annual respirator physical; no facial hair allowed between the face and sealing surface of the respirator face plate.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:

• Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
• Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
• Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
• Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
