Job Details

Position: Manual Machinist & CNC Machinist
Shift: First Shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM)
Location: Powell Valves, 1568 Joe Rodgers Blvd., Manning, SC 29012

Salary Range: $18.00-$30.00/hour, depending on skill set

Responsibilities

  • Have knowledge, experience and ability to set-up, adjust and operate all machines in the shop i.e. lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, etc.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate all machine tools and all specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
  • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
  • Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and 3-10 years machining experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot on the spot
  • Can assist QC in determining control dimensions to be charted.
  • Communicate effectively with team members as well as management.

Salary/Compensation: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
