Diesel Mechanic Technician

Double R Transport LLC is a New England-based freight company operating our own fleet of trucks and trailers while also servicing customer-owned equipment. We are looking for an experienced, reliable diesel mechanic for a 1st shift, full-time role.

What Youll Do
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC
Perform preventative maintenance on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and other equipment
Use diagnostic software, hand tools, and power tools to identify and repair issues
Maintain accurate work records and parts usage
Conduct DOT inspections (if certified)
Occasionally assist with emergency roadside repairs
Keep work area clean and safe
Requirements

2+ years diesel mechanic experience (Class 8 preferred)
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Must have own tools
Valid drivers license (CDL preferred but not required)
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
DOT inspection certification, welding, and ASE/OEM certifications are a plus
Shift Details

1st Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5 PM
