Job Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in guiding the Maintenance Department across all shifts. This position involves assigning tasks, setting goals, coordinating improvements, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Highlights of your role:
  • Oversee maintenance operations across all shifts, ensuring timely response to equipment needs and project deadlines.
  • Monitor departmental performance and implement improvements to support safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Supervise and mentor team leads, building bench strength and supporting professional development.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production support needs.
  • Maintain building infrastructure and coordinate with external vendors for system upkeep.
  • Lead departmental initiatives including 5S, safety programs, and continuous improvement efforts.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):
  • Bring at least three years of maintenance experience, including prior supervisory responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and follow through.
  • Interpret technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Communicate effectively in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Navigate maintenance software and basic computer programs (Microsoft Office); familiarity with ICIM is a plus.
  • Perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
Also want to make sure you have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or training in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience using maintenance management systems and writing reports or documentation.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to support a team with varied strengths through coaching and conflict resolution.
  • A commitment to safety and quality, with a proactive approach to risk management and incident prevention.
