Equipment Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the operations team supporting the overall production process. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully with the organization. Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician Location: San Fernando, CA Pay Range: $25/hr Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday What's the Job? Assist senior mechanics in diagnosing and making complex repairs to equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment. Conduct minor repairs to facilities and equipment, including plumbing and electrical work. Complete production run set-ups and changeovers on packaging equipment as scheduled. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems to access information and requisition parts. What's Needed? A High School Diploma or GED is required. Minimum of one year of training and experience in similar positions. Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge in industrial maintenance activities. Fluent English skills to read and understand maintenance manuals and safety procedures. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting loads up to 50 pounds. What's in it for me?
