Maintenance Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for a heavy industrial manufacturing plant to work on the 3rd shift. The role involves performing preventative maintenance on machinery and fabricating repair parts using shop equipment. You will also be responsible for rigging, moving, and installing equipment as needed. This will be a direct-placement opportunity with access to full benefits, PTO, and 401k. Job Overview: Job title: Maintenance Mechanic Location: Wildwood, FL Shift: 10:00pm-6:00am (Monday-Friday) - overtime available Pay: $30/hr Manufacturing environment (open bay, indoor/outdoor, heavy-industrial environment) Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery. Fabricate repair parts using shop equipment. Rig, move, and install equipment as necessary. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems including valves, pumps, and motors. Qualifications: Heavy experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. Proficient in troubleshooting and mechanical repair. Skilled in industrial maintenance and fabrication. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Experience working in non-climate controlled and heavy-industrial environments. High School Diploma or Equivalent Why Work Here?
