Building Maintenance Technician or Engineer

Our client, a leader in the engineering and technical services industry, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician or Engineer to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician or Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Maintenance department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of confidence in their technical skills, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician or Engineer

Location: Fairfield, CA

Pay Range: $35/hr. - $38/hr.

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems.
• Monitor and maintain building systems to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.
• Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program.
• Respond to emergency repairs and maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• Review inspections of building systems to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with trade school education preferred.
• 4-5 years of job-related experience in a similar role.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more and meet physical requirements of the role.
