Shop Manager/Fleet Manager/Mechanic

Small Excavation Company hiring 1 position for Shop Manager/Fleet Manager/Mechanic (Hands on wrenching manager, not a desk manager). Applicant will be paid every Friday. Between 40-55 hours a week. Paid time and a half overtime. Paid holidays after 30 days, paid vacation after a year, medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits after 60 days. Phone allowance. 401K. LTD insurance. Typical work schedule 7:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday Pay range DOE

Oversee, direct, and perform fleet maintenance program for pickups, heavy trucks and all sizes of excavation equipment. Perform and direct projects from full overhaul to simple oil changes. Order and maintain parts and shop stock. Manage, direct, and train 1-2 less experienced mechanics

Must have a minimum 10 years experience in heavy diesel repairs, R & R, fabrication, welding, and management of shop. Must be a team player willing to perform ALL aspects of mechanics. Be familiar with the operations of excavation and aggregate. Be able to lift 75lbs. Endure cold/heat and various weather conditions as needed for field calls. Work hard. Take direction from owners and management. Must be 18 years or older.
