What Youll Do:- Oversee and maintain the physical environment of the community, both inside and out.
- Ensure electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems are in top working order.
- Perform and oversee repairs, preventative maintenance, and Life Safety compliance .
- Keep documentation up to date in the Life Safety Book and TELS maintenance program for audits and surveys.
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to maintain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere for residents, families, and staff.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a maintenance assistant or supervisor in a skilled nursing setting. Hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and sheetrock repair (including tape and float). Familiarity with Life Safety codes and compliance requirements. Strong organizational and computer skills , including email, Word, Excel, and internet usage. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to quality and safety.
