Overview

We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician for assignment in Denver, Colorado. The selected candidate will assist in the maintenance of our facility; including general maintenance, upkeep, repairs, housekeeping and improvements.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

** This position is temporary for 2 - 3 months while an employee is out on leave **

Responsibilities

- Assist in maintaining chilled water systems and equipment

- Learn to work with industrial and commercial chillers

- Support the maintenance of auxiliary equipment, including: pumps, cooling towers, air compressors and control valves

- Participate in preventive maintenance tasks, such as: cooling tower basin cleaning, pump lubrication, equipment oil/filter changes, evacuate and charge refrigerant in support of chiller maintenance

- General facilities upkeep including painting and preservation, drywall and tile repair, internal and external doors and windows, light plumbing and piping repair and cleaning

- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System for tracking maintenance activities

- Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Drivers License

- Any combination of HVAC, plumbing, pipe fitting, electrical, I&C or plant operations experience
