Important skills for a Fabricator include mechanical skills, physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. They should also have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Some certifications that could be beneficial for a Fabricator include a Certification in Fabrication and Welding Technology, a Certificate in Sheet Metal Technology, or other relevant qualifications. Before becoming a Fabricator, a person may have roles such as a Machine Operator, a Welder, or an Apprentice in Fabrication.
