Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician 1st shift

Location: 420 Industrial Parkway Bowling Green, OH 43402

Business: Vylon Pipe is a manufacturer of large diameter sewer PVC pipe.  This pipe is used in wastewater, stormwater, highway culvert, irrigaion and raw water transition market.  This is a unique process of Extrusion/Forming/Welding that is property to only Vylon Pipe.  This is a full time position with some overtime required.

Paid Holidays
PTO accumulated and offered.
PPE: After 90 days, $100 safety boot reimbursment annually.  Earplugs, safety glasses, gloves and saw protection provided.

The ideal candidate for the maintenance position should possess the following:
- Complete set of hand tools, welding protection, VOM.
- Mechanical Skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment.
- Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled.
- Ability to read, write and speak english preferred.  Must interact with production staff.
- Strong work ethis and eye for detail.
- Exemplary safety record with previous employees.
- Strong commuincation skills.
-Industrial Electrical Controls experience.
-Compressed air and pneumatic control systems.
-Electrical experience in 480VAC/3 Ph and motor controls.
- Industrial Building Maintenance Experience.
-Refridgeration Experience, basic t, forkliftsroubleshooting on Chiller Systems.
- Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus.
-Understand and repair hydraulic systems.
- Basic Operation of a vertical mill and engine lathe for machine repair.
-Basic MIG Welding skills for repair and fabrication.
-Maintenance and repair mobile equipment, forklifts, track loaders and road trailers.
