Job Description
Provide carpentry and other facility maintenance services in support of the District's maintenance program. Assist other trades as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Construction and masonry experience preferred.
* Demonstrates knowledge and experience in all phases of carpentry work to include finish work and rough construction.
* Must be in good physical condition for heavy work, i.e. lifting objects up to 75 lbs., carrying lumber, window/door installation, vertical construction, snow removal, etc.
* Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of power and hand tools.
* Mechanical aptitude to include the ability to analyze carpentry projects, determine material requirements, and efficiently complete tasks in a professional manner.
* Required to participate in snow removal.
* Ability to follow written and oral instructions, and read and understand blueprints and specifications.
* Ability to establish and maintain positive working relations with fellow workers, administrative staff, students, and teachers.
* Must have valid driver's license.

Hours:
6:30 am to 3:00 pm (includes a 1/2 unpaid lunch)
Salary:
Full-time, 12 month position
$30.80 per hour after successful probationary period
