Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leader in the distribution industry, is seeking a Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational efficiency of the distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong team-oriented mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Moreno Valley, CA

Pay Range: $28 $35/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM

What's the Job?

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair of conveyor line equipment and minor building maintenance.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize product flow and monitor conveyor performance.
  • Manage equipment spare parts inventory to ensure availability for repairs.
  • Assist with directing site contractor services and ensure compliance with safety initiatives.
  • Conduct weekly inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution center environment.
  • Hands-on experience with conveyors, electrical systems, and related equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot conveyor system automation and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; technical vocational training or degree in a related field preferred.
