Maintenance Technician (Aurora, NE)

Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team working onsite at our client's office located in Aurora, NE.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Work Location: Aurora, NE
Duration: Long-term contract with option to hire
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30pm with potential for some on-call work after initial training period
Education/Experience Required: High school or equivalent

Job Description:

• 500,000 sq. feet of production space and warehouse
• Candidate will need to be comfortable working from heights - scissor lift/fork lifts
• Client facing role
• Some independent work, some work as a team based on safety requirements

Resource's typical working day:

• Facility work only
• Overhead doors
• Dock doors
• FLS PM's
  • Fire life safety
• Overhead lights
• Minor plumbing
• Light carpentry

Must Have Skills:

• 1-2+ years experience
• H.S. diploma or GED required, Trade school preferred or equivalent experience
• Electrical troubleshooting experience
• Mechanical experience
  • Specifically overhead doors
• Candidate will need to be able to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs each day
• Basic computer skills
• Basic phone app skills

Nice to have skills:

• 480 volt experience
• Food safety experience
• Hydraulic experience

Soft Skills:

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn
