This position is responsible for managing I/E and Mechanical Maintenance services to the companys respective generating facilities to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation in order to meet system generation requirements in the most cost-effective manner. Plan and direct maintenance activities which provide for a safe, accident-free workplace. Lead and direct all operational activities in a manner that supports a commitment to customer service.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or technical knowledge that would be equivalent to two years of technical training beyond high school. Job-related experience of 12 years or more in Wholesale Electric. A thorough knowledge of generating plant equipment and maintenance processes. Team builder and coach; motivator and energizer; ability to provide candid and constructive feedback; written and communication skills; knowledge of basic computer skills; capable of establishing goals and objectives to support strategic initiatives; ability to cope with and implement change; knowledge of power generation equipment and procedures.
