Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing overall facility maintenance, including repairs and
preventive maintenance of plant equipment such as boilers, chillers, air compressors, and HVAC systems. In addition,
this role is responsible for maintaining all manufacturing equipment, including performing scheduled preventive
maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues.

• General maintenance activities on plant utility systems to ensure continuous supply of heat, steam, electrical power, chilled water, gas and compressed air.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors and variable frequency drives.
• Perform tasks involving industrial control wiring and troubleshooting.
• Conduct PLC troubleshooting and basic programing.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 9 hours at one time

working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

Maintenance (3 years of experience is required)

Electrical (2 years of experience is preferred)

Industrial Maintenance (5 years of experience is preferred)

Manufacturing (5 years of experience is required)

Blueprints (1 year of experience is required)

PLC Troubleshooting (1 year of experience is required)
