Experience: Diesel Technician (Preferred), Mobile Repair Experience (Plus)
About the Role:
S and T Trucking Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our safetyfocused, fastgrowing team. This position is responsible for performing roadside and onsite diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance tractors. You will represent our company in the field, ensuring our fleet stays safe, compliant, and operational.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and can troubleshoot independently while maintaining a high standard of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair in the field or at customer locations
Perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and safety checks
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and aftertreatment systems (DPF, DEF, SCR)
Respond to breakdowns, prioritize repairs, and communicate status updates
Maintain an organized, wellstocked service truck
Document all repairs, parts used, and recommendations accurately
Follow all company, customer, and DOT safety protocols
Interact professionally with drivers, dispatch, and customers
Qualifications:
Experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools
Ability to work independently and make sound repair decisions
Valid drivers license (CDL a plus but not required)
Ability to lift, bend, and work in various outdoor conditions
Strong communication and documentation skills
