Job Description


We are looking for a skilled, safety-minded Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you won't just be swapping partsyou will be handling full diagnostic, maintenance, and overhaul work on a diverse fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
We keep our shop clean, well-lit, and stocked with up-to-date diagnostic software and specialized tooling so you can do your job efficiently and safely.
What You Will Do
Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using modern OEM diagnostic software.
Repairs & Overhauls: Perform engine overhauls, transmission repairs, differential rebuilds, and brake system overhauls on Class 7-8 vehicles and heavy equipment.
Routine Maintenance: Execute scheduled PM services, DOT inspections, and federal compliance checks.
Fabrication & Welding: Perform light fabrication and component welding as required for equipment modification or repair.
Documentation: Accurate tracking of labor time, parts usage, and repair histories via our digital shop management system.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Minimum 1 years of professional experience working on heavy-duty diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit Diesel, PACCAR, CAT, etc.).
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical schematics, hydraulic systems, and aftertreatment/emission systems (SCR, DPF, EGR).
Tools: Possession of a comprehensive set of professional-grade hand tools and air tools up to at least 1-1/4 inches.
Licenses: Valid drivers license required. A Class A or B CDL is a major plus (or willingness to obtain one).
Certifications: ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications (T2 through T8) or OEM factory certifications are highly preferred.
