Janitor/Maintenance Assistant

Looking for a Part-Time individual to work approximately 30 hours a week with the possibility of going Full-Time if you meet certain requirements in the future upcoming months. This is for an apartment complex with 12 buildings, 132 apartments.

~ Part-time does not come with any benefits. However, if you are able to succeed with the job requirements, Full-time can be discussed and it would come with paid vacation days, sick days, and fully paid health benefits.

~ The pay is $18.00 per hour with yearly raises based on job performance.

~ Hours for the first 3 months are Monday through Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Fridays 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

~ After the 90-day probation period, the shift may possibly be altered to better suit your schedule if necessary.

Job Duties Include, but not limited to the following:
- Cleaning and maintain all common areas of the interior and exterior of the buildings; steps, halls, flooring, laundry rooms, windows, dusting etc.
- Clean-outs for the Turns. Full cleaning of each unit after a move-out.
- Trash pick-up.
- Water landscaping/flowers daily.
- Assistant Maintenance Technician when needed.
* You are not required to have maintenance experience, or a vehicle or valid Driver's License, but it does help and could increase pay.
* This position can include heavy lifting at times. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. on your own and help Maintenance Technician lift heavy items such as appliances on occasion.
* The position requires allot of physical labor during entire shift. (Walking, bending, kneeling, standing, carrying, cleaning, steps.)
