Judge Direct Placement is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technicians across all shifts for a CPG Manufacturing client in Paoli, PA.
This role will support the maintenance, repair, and reliability programs, building, facility, powered industrial, and stationary equipment.
This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, ensuring food-safe operations, and maintaining high equipment performance through proactive preventive maintenance and effective troubleshooting.
The Maintenance Technician works closely with Production, Line Leads, and Machine Operators to quickly identify issues, perform repairs, and return equipment to service safely and correctly the first time.

Key Responsibilities
Repair and maintain equipment, including conveyors, tape machines, feed and removal systems, to minimize downtime
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), including inspection, testing sensors, replacing wear parts, and documenting completed work
Execute major PMs and rebuilds requiring machine downtime (e.g., wedge, plug, vessel alignment)
Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical components including controls, sensors, relays, starters, fuses, timers, and switches
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical components such as motors, bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, pulleys, rollers, and transfer plates
Inspect and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and high-pressure equipment including compressors, pumps, hoses, cylinders, and seals
Perform PM inspections on plant systems including HVAC, water heaters, pumps, heat exchangers, evaporators, fans, conveyors, and powered industrial equipment
Maintain maintenance tools, shadow boards, spare parts, and commonly used tubing at proper inventory levels
Test equipment before returning it to production, ensuring all tools and parts are removed and equipment meets food safety standards
Notify supervisors when CIP (Clean-In-Place) is required
Follow Document Control, GMP, safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
Maintain safe, organized, and sanitary work areas on the shop floor and in the maintenance shop
Provide parts usage, inventory updates, and maintenance-related information to leadership
Support on-call needs and rotating weekend work for major PMs, rebuilds, or weekend processing
Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
Perform additional related tasks as needed to support operations

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience
Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, specifications, and maintenance documentation
Completion of OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification and Electrical Technician training (by technician level)
Strong attention to detail, safety, and accuracy
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Willingness to work weekends, rotating schedules, and support shutdowns or coverage as needed

Adherence to all safety protocols is required
Ability to work around food ingredients
