Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee a team of 25 technicians at our 24/7 manufacturing facility in De Soto, KS. This role primarily operates on a day shift schedule, but requires management of night shifts as well. Responsibilities Direct and coordinate all maintenance staff activities for mechanical and electrical repair of equipment to support plant performance goals while minimizing downtime, maximizing output, efficiency, and quality. Maintain plant safety standards and enforce all safety policies. Collaborate with the plant management team to plan preventative maintenance programs and schedule machine overhauls in coordination with operating activities. Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Handle all supervisory tasks for the maintenance department, including interviewing, hiring, performance appraisals, discipline, training, and policy enforcement. Work with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to ensure problems are resolved quickly and with minimal downtime. Collaborate with the plant management team to develop, coordinate, and oversee various capital and process improvement projects. Prepare and manage the annual department budget. Oversee the Facility Maintenance department.
