We're seeking a proactive 3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of skilled maintenance professionals in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role supports nightly operations by driving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor night shift maintenance team to support production goals.
- Drive proactive/reactive maintenance planning to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Collaborate with day shift supervisors and planners to ensure maintenance goals are aligned.
- Generate and track maintenance work orders; ensure timely follow-ups.
- Oversee the safe and efficient completion of equipment and facility repairs.
- Partner with production staff to maintain operational efficiency and promote a safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Administer company policies fairly and consistently.
- Source and manage parts inventory as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Industrial Controls/Maintenance preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance or controls experience (7+ years preferred).
- Prior experience in multi-building, multi-shift manufacturing environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., D7i) preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel); AutoCAD and PLC experience a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
