Position Overview

As a Construction Installation Technician, you’ll perform a wide range of concrete, mechanical, and and civil construction on complex mechanical and electromechanical vehicle barrier systems. This is a TRAVEL-BASED POSITION, supporting projects nationwide. You’ll work on secure government and commercial sites, so reliability, curiosity, professionalism, and adaptability are essential. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, travel, and challenging physical and mental work. Someone who can envision how the work they are doing fits into the overall project completion and who can understand its importance. We are looking for someone with multi-disciplinary skills that can be applied in our industry.

Key Qualifications, Skills, & Experience Preferred

• Proven experience in concrete work, including forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, demolition, rebar tying, and form building.
• Skilled in excavation and site preparation, with basic equipment operation proficiency.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; experience installing large components, rigging, and using hand and power tools effectively and safely.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems, including drainage, conduit installation, and wire pulling.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems is a plus but not required.
• Multi-skilled and task-flexible; able to adapt quickly and work efficiently across trades.
• General carpentry knowledge and construction site experience.
• Dependable, curious, and collaborative team player.
• Willing and able to travel nationwide for extended project assignments. Work may include weekends, nights, and varied weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass background checks for secure government facility access.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License – Real ID REQUIRED.
• Ability to pass a background check for military base access.
• Ability to travel nationwide.
• Strong multi-disciplinary knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range:
$55,000 – $70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
