The City of Napa's Public Works Maintenance Division is currently seeking a Street Maintenance Worker I/II.
Our Public Works Street Maintenance Division is responsible for operating and maintaining nearly 470 lane miles of roadway throughout the City of Napa. Street Maintenance Workers are at the forefront of these improvements conducted through a wide range of maintenance upgrades to city infrastructure. As a Street Maintenance Worker I/II, you will be responsible for repairing city streets, sidewalks, signs, performing traffic signing and striping work, operating hand and power tools, and heavy equipment.
Our Street Maintenance Workers work in our Streets Division, which maintains and operates city streets and the public right-of-way. Our team of Street Maintenance Workers are primarily focused on implementing upgrades to our local neighborhoods including streets, sidewalks, signs and markings. We work closely to transform neighborhoods through asphalt street resurfacing; concrete sidewalk, ADA ramp, and curb/gutter upgrades; and installation of new street signs and roadway markings. We also maintain the City's stormwater system and provide support for roadway and/or other localized emergencies.

The City of Napa utilizes a Civil Service Selection System founded on merit.
